The Design of a Microcontroller-Based Fire Detector on Android

Abstract

Microcontroller is a Mini-Computer that consists of inputs, outputs, and also IC (Integrated Circuit) which can be programmed using C++ language. In this research, work consists of the Design of Microcontroller-based fire Detection Devices on Android. This research discusses monitoring the presence in the room by using a device consisting of a microcontroller that is capable of programming that originally could only be programmed with a computer now it can be done through a smartphone in accordance with the times. From the results of the research conducted, the results of the compilation of fire sensors (detection sensors as soon as possible) evaluate the presence of Fire from building space, then automatically notified in the form of SMS (Short Message Service) to the number of the Smartphone owner.
