Cost and Time of Girder Erection Work with The Launcher Method on The Project Train Bridge Construction Api CT 406 in Maros District

The construction project of the Ct 406 Railway Bridge in Maros Regency is a bridge that stretches 54 meters long using a PCI girder structure on the middle span of 30 meters, the installation method of which is often called girder erection. The method used in writing this final assignment, especially in girder erection work, is the launcher method, while in its implementation in the field it is planned to use the service crane method. The selection of this implementation method uses several considerations, such as the location of the project. The results obtained after going through the processing and calculation process using the launcher method on the girder erection work on the middle span of the construction of the Ct 406 Railway Bridge along 30 meters showed that the resulting costs were more expensive. In the service crane method, the cost was obtained of Rp. 1,779,437,050.00, while if using the launcher method, the cost was obtained of Rp. 2,193,471,841.00. In terms of time, the use of the service crane method is faster than the use of the launcher method. By using the crane service method, girder erection work can be carried out in 14 days, whereas if using the launcher method it can be carried out in 20.96 days.
