Penyuluhan Cara Meminimalisir Sampah Plastik Lewat Pembuatan Paving Block Secara Manual

Abstract

The more people consume, the more plastic waste they produce. Naturally, if then it becomes a serious environmental problem. A technology is needed that can convert plastic waste into long-lived products so that it does not return to waste in a short time. The manufacture of paving block products from plastic is an alternative to the use of plastic waste in the long term, in order to improve utilization efficiency and reduce the environmental burden of plastic waste and produce innovative products as building materials. The implementation of this Community Service (PKM) activity goes through 4 stages, namely: 1. Field observations, 2. Licensing activities, 3. Extension activities, 4. Training on making paving blocks. This activity was able to increase the knowledge and skills of the residents of the Galesong sub-district, residents claimed that it was greatly helped by this activity, the plastic waste that piled up and wasted and damaged the environment of the village of Galesong, the city can now be minimized with knowledge of the use of plastic waste into paving blocks that can become jobs. villagers on a home scale.
