Pemberdayaan Perempuan Melalui Pelatihan Bahasa Inggris Untuk Ibu-Ibu PKK dan Kader Posyandu di Desa Karyamekar Pasirwangi Kab. Garut Jawa Barat

Abstract

This Community Service Program aimed to enhance women's empowerment through English language training for members of PKK and posyandu cadres in Karyamekar Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency, West Java. The program was initiated based on the need to improve basic English competence to support communication, global literacy, and the quality of community health services. Twenty participants attended the two-day training conducted on November 14–15, 2025, at Classroom 1, SDN Karyamekar 2. The training methods included lectures, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ vocabulary mastery, basic conversational skills, and motivation to continue learning English. This activity successfully strengthened women’s empowerment and improved cadres’ capacity in supporting community-based programs.
