Pelatihan Dan Pendampingan Peningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan Wisata di Desa dengan Peran Aktif Ibu PKK dan Kader Posyandu Desa Karyamekar Pasirwangi Kabupaten Garut Jawa Barat

Abstract

This community service program was conducted in Karyamekar Village, Pasirwangi District, Garut Regency on November 14–15, 2025, aiming to improve the quality of village tourism services through training and mentoring activities involving the active participation of PKK women and Posyandu cadres. The main issues faced by the village tourism sector include limited human resource capacity in delivering friendly, professional, and tourist-oriented services. The program employed several

methods, including socialization sessions, service excellence training, hands-on practice, and continuous mentoring. Participants consisted of PKK members and Posyandu cadres who play a strategic role in community-based services. The results indicate an increase in participants’ understanding of tourism service concepts, effective communication with tourists, environmental cleanliness, and the management of local potential based on local wisdom. Furthermore, the program fostered collective awareness of the importance of high-quality tourism services in supporting village tourism development and improving community welfare. Therefore, this training and mentoring program is expected to serve as a model for community empowerment in developing sustainable rural tourism
