Pelatihan Pembuatan Tower Hidroponik Pipa PVC sebagai Teknologi Urban Farming Di Permukiman Kota Majene

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Majene City residents in developing urban agriculture through vertical hydroponic technology using PVC pipes. The training program targeted housewives as the primary participants, who were provided with materials on hydroponic fundamentals, tower construction techniques, and plant nutrition and maintenance. The training was implemented in stages through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. Evaluation and monitoring were conducted to assess participants' understanding and the sustainability of the technology's application. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ ability to utilize limited spaces for independent food production. This program also supported the achievement of household food security and the creation of greener and more productive living environments.
