Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam Sosialisasi Alat Penjernih Air

Abstract

This community empowerment aims to overcome a serious problem that exists in Pa'bundukang Village, South Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency, namely the condition of the water used daily looks cloudy and unfit for daily use. This problem affects the quality of life of the local community, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle (PHBS) must always be applied. In implementing PHBS the use of clean water is the main key in its implementation. Through this community empowerment, counseling is carried out on water purification equipment by means of filtration and ion exchange. The systematics of the solutions offered are (1) Observation of the environment in Pa'buntukang Village (2) Representative sampling of water at several points of the house (3) Manufacture of water purifiers (4) Filtration process and ion exchange of water samples (5) Analysis before and after the process of filtration and ion exchange of water samples (6) Counseling on the results of observations and analysis of water conditions in Pa'buntukang village and (7) Socialization of the design of using water purifiers. The community is greatly helped by this activity so that the tools designed can be applied in their daily lives and improve the quality of life of the pa'buntukang community.
