Pengolahan Limbah Tortilla dalam Upaya Pemberdayaan Ruang Kolaborasi Perempuan Kota Makassar

Abstrak

Tortilla pieces have the potential to be processed into snack products. Utilization and processing of tortilla pieces can be one way to empower the community. To empower the community, of course, knowledge and skills are needed. The right empowerment can change the community to be more productive and increase the income of the community's family, especially the Makassar City Women's Collaboration group. Indirectly, the output of this activity can contribute to improving the welfare of families and society as a whole. The way of sustainable empowerment can be done through several stages. First, to identify the number of women community who carry out the activities of managing Tortilla pieces into snacks. Second, analyzing the community's ability to provide raw materials, namely pieces of tortilla and additional ingredients, namely seasonings as a flavor enhancer. Third, identify the readiness of the equipment used in producing processed tortilla pieces, as well as the potential and actual market for the processed tortilla pieces. Fourth, analyze competition and product quality to compete. This is done to improve managerial skills, working capital management (access to financial institutions), and marketing capabilities. Fifth, continuous supervision that is carried out comprehensively and continuously. At this stage, the involvement of government institutions and partner institutions will greatly determine the success of the program.
