Home gardens have great potential in realizing family-based food security. It's just that its utilization has not been carried out optimally. The increasing demand for agricultural products is not balanced with the land area in Indonesia so that production cannot meet people's needs. In carrying out this activity there are several method stages, namely as follows: 1. The KKN student team coordinates with the Amassangan subdistrict head, 2. Observation 3. Socialization on the use of household yards is carried out in the hall of the Amassangan subdistrict office, 4. Cleaning and preparing the land 5. Making beds. 6. Collecting rice husks for making husk charcoal, 7. Next, mixing compost fertilizer with rice husk charcoal, then applying it to the demonstration land as a planting medium which will be mixed with the soil 8. Planting cucumber seeds, red spinach and water spinach, Land development This experiment is really needed by the people of Amassangan sub-district. For the people of Amassangan Village, this community service has a very positive impact on the community and is very helpful so that the community can utilize their yard land by growing horticultural plants. Apart from that, the community admits that with this activity they gain more knowledge. This community service and socialization activity has been successfully implemented.
