Modern farmers often use plant growth regulators to effectively enhance crop yields. One commonly employed chemical compound is Paclobutrazol, which can expedite and synchronize the processes of flowering and fruiting in plants. The application of Paclobutrazol in crop cultivation aims to accelerate growth and shorten the harvest period. This research focuses on the effectiveness of Paclobutrazol application on the growth and production of soybeans. The experiment involved variations in Paclobutrazol concentration and application timing. It employed a two-factor factorial design, considering concentrations (0 ppm, 100 ppm, 200 ppm, and 300 ppm) and application timing (21, 28, and 35 DAP), with random group sampling (RGS). The results indicate that the interaction between a concentration of 200 ppm and application timing at 28 DAS yielded optimal outcomes. This includes the average number of productive branches (4.20 branches), flowering age (31.33 days), harvest age (71.67 days), total pod count (55.42 pods), filled pod count (53.83 pods), empty pod percentage (1.30%), dry seed weight (33.93 g), 100-seed weight (21.07 g), and seed production (3.24 t.h-1).
