Abstract

Palm oil (CPO) products are one of the products with quite large prospects in Indonesia. Palm oil processing requires good quality qualitatively and quantitatively. Efforts to improve quality are an activity or company strategy to produce products that are in great demand by consumers. The research aims to improve the quality of palm oil using the Green QFD method, determine consumers' needs and desires for palm oil products, and develop a planning matrix to determine what actions the company will take to improve product quality. The method used is Quality Function Deployment (QFD). The results of this research are that based on the results of both open and closed questionnaires, the main points of consumer needs were obtained: abundant availability, affordable prices, clear color, odorless, high vapor point and not easily coagulating at high temperatures. This provides satisfaction to consumers for the development of palm oil products at PT. Sucofindo Palu Service Unit.
