Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between land use and transportation using the Lowry model. The location taken as a case study is the peri-urban area of Makassar City. The results of the study show the tendency of people working as commuters who live in the back areas to form peri-urban areas. This is based on facts and analysis that show the magnitude of interaction and the increase in the service sector, as well as the increase in the workforce.
