This study discusses the critical role of leaders in building a positive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture in industrial settings, with a case study at PT Ataka Serui. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and observations to analyze how effective leadership can enhance the OHS culture within the company. The results show that proactive, communicative, and safety-committed leadership plays a significant role in creating a safe and healthy work environment. Leaders who set positive examples and encourage employee involvement in OHS programs can improve compliance with safety procedures, reduce the risk of accidents, and enhance employee well-being. This study highlights that strong leadership is crucial in optimizing OHS culture, which ultimately contributes to the overall performance of the company.
