Manufacturing Liquid Organic Fertilizer From Rice Washing and Coffee Grounds

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce liquid organic fertilizer products that have quality equivalent to commercial POC by utilizing waste from used rice washing water by fermentation with the EM4 activator to increase the macro and micro nutrient content so that high quality liquid organic fertilizer is produced in accordance with organic fertilizer quality standards. RI Ministry of Agriculture (No: 70/Permentan/SR.140/10/2011). Based on the overall data, several parameters do not meet the requirements. The results of the macro nutrient content parameters for N (0.59%), P₂O₅ (16.26%), K₂O (2.19%), and C-Organic were 0.11%.
